Vision for the Future. This year’s annual appeal and pledge campaign will kick off the New Year in early January. Union Training. Lobbying and Political Activism: A three-workshop series is being conducted for union locals the first Wednesday of each month beginning on December. The 1st workshop will be followed by development of locals’ political agenda, getting bills submitted, and, in the final workshop, tracking legislation and testifying before legislative committees. Participants need not attend the complete series.
