Workplace Spanish

In many occupations and professions, it is absolutely necessary to communicate with Spanish speakers. Lack of communication can be frustrating, costly and dangerous.

You do not have to be fluent to communicate effectively, but you do need to know those terms and phrases that will get your message, question or response across.

In addition to improving teamwork and productivity, you can achieve very meaningful benefits from learning job-specific Spanish, including: fewer on the job accidents; better customer service; improved health care and emergency services, more efficient law enforcement and courts; and reducing the cost and need for interpreters or bilinguals for basic conversations.

Some professions that benefit from this Workplace Spanish instruction include: construction; corrections; fire fighters and EMS; health care; hospitals and nurses; human resources; landscaping; law enforcement; manufacturing; police officers; restaurants; and retailers and supermarkets.

20 hours. This course is open enrollment or it can be offered as contract training.
